My, this is such a kind message, Josh. I feel bad that it's only today that I"m coming across this.
As you know, Josh- you always handle such things with the best most mature point of view. I try, but sometimes I'm a bit too close to the situation to not become emotionally involved. (As is my Octodude, but he ever can't stand for anyone dissing me... or scaring me... yeah I'm talking about YOU scary guy in Austin...and he has a righteously scary Texas glare that no one would ever want to be on the bad side of...but I digress)
I am always eternally grateful that the Xyliacs have given me their time and patience for so long. In a way, I really can't blame anyone for moving on, it was simply the tone of the post that rankled me so much. But Josh's summation of what deserves to be addressed is a wise one, but Josh is nothing if he isn't always very, very wise.
Thank you all Xyliacs for your support, and especially Josh for all of your help and wisdom...

Haven't seen many movies lately- If you would like to post a formal review (with a new subject header) of any movies you've seen, that would be awesome! Make sure to alert if you post any spoilers!

I don't think that's uncommon to see variation in this test. That's why I personally find it interesting because my personality type is the type that wants to 'know thyself' and know others too.
One of the reasons I am so keen to know what makes people tick is because I was blind to an extreme form of betrayal and dishonesty, which left me questioning my own ability to see peoples' true motivation. I'm fearful of people and don't want to be, and the clearest path away from fear is understanding.
At the same time, obviously you have to take the test with a grain of salt in some ways. I just like it as a tool to kind of help me get a basic understanding of someone- like if this person is an extrovert or an introvert (like me) two types of people that superficially don't 'get' each other without being willing to accept one another's differences. Extroverts gain energy from being with others, Introverts gain it from time alone. It's not that an introvert CAN'T be or doesn't enjoy socializing, it's just we need to power up again by being alone doing something we love: reading, art, music, poetry, etc.
You will find most artists in the classic sense are ALL introverts. We need that alone time to create. So we need to desire that solitude.
Extroverts have a harder time understanding introverts I think, because they imagine themselves being alone and how sad they would be in that situation, then project that feeling upon their introvert friends, not understanding that we are soaking up that alone time with relish!
Thanks for sharing your results!

Actually, I think the lower the number, the more balanced that part of your personality is. That you can kind of see both sides. My original introversion score was higher than it is now because I'm actively trying to be more social. THose scores can change somewhat. That makes you a Protector Guardian. (That's my mom and my best friend's personality type!) Here's a description of that type, if you haven't seen it already. http://www.personalitypage.com/ISFJ.htmlSee if it suits you! Hugs, B

FAN ART!! I lurrrrves the fan art! Haven't had any in a good long while, but then THERE HAS BEEN NO STORY in a good long while ,so that stands to reason.
Thank you so much for joining and welcome to the Xyliacs. I really enjoyed watching your broadcast a week or so ago, and chatting on KEz's broadcast too.
Don't know about me having 'great powers' or any powers to speak of, (except an intensely dangerous glare with my 'V' eyebrows when someone is acting up...) lOL! Welcome to the forum, and I hope you stop by again!!

Hi Liria!
GLOMPS (but carefully...so as not to injure the lady with child...)
And you have a walker! Heaven help you. ^_^ It's fun- but has it's challenges, especially when shopping when the little munchkin would prefer walking to being strapped into some apparatus and wheeled around.
"MOM! I"m good at this walkin' thing!"
Then when you decide - "Hey, I'm running in quick, we can hold hands and she can walk" As soon as you get your item at the store, 'noodle legs' kicks in.
"Mom, don't want to do this walking thing anymore.'
Ah, babies. Miss that time. Someone once told me that small children are a physical drain on the parents (running after them, losing sleep, etc.) and teens are a mental drain (worrying about school, all the activities, them DRIVING around out there, boyfriends and girlfriends and ALL THAT ENTAILS... *pulls hair*.)
I know what they meant now. -.- Please enjoy your little ones! ( I know you do.) It's hard to see now, but their childhood really does go by in the blink of an eye.
So happy to see you here, hope you can make it back soon!
Hugs, B

Mmmm...is that one of the rationals? Actually, if you don't mind posting that as a separate thread, then more people will see and can comment! ^_^
Did you think it described you pretty well? Mine is the same as Josh's and the description is SCARY on for me.
