Hey everyone!
First of all, I want to announce that I have decided to update Xylia at noon CST every week. Sometimes a bit earlier, but that just makes it more realistic for me.
Next I want to extend an ENORMOUS THANK YOU to everyone for your incredibly generous outpouring of support in our first week of fund raising. Considering the economy, the holidays and everything else, it is truly a show of great support and loyalty to me and this little project. I will always say that I have the best readers in the world. We are nearly halfway to our month goal already! Thank you so much.
One thing I want to mention again:
If you have any difficulties with, or do not receive your donation gifts, PLEASE EMAIL ME directly: bji2001@mchsi.com. I am trying to email everyone with a personal thank you anyway, once I receive Paypal notification, but if I should miss you or not get a notice, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Here are the links to the ways you can help!

Please buy Xylia merchandise. I’m hearing that the calendar looks great! I still don’t have my own copy, but the Cafe Press quality is superb. One of the images (December) is unavailable anywhere else!

Please donate to receive wallpapers and story chapters. I hope to add some new goodies soon.
On to today’s news:
Today’s page is a heartwarming bit of stuff, isn’t it? Sniff. Claude is finally home in every sense of the word. The next page I hope to update before next week. No promises, but check on THursday!
Today’s question. I’m thinking about doing some fun images of the Xylia cast in movie or band settings. What do you think would be a neat tribute Xylia image? I’ve done Claude as Ziggy Stardust and Dorothy…hmmm sounds like a confused guy. Anyway, what movies do you think the Xylia cast could handle?
Better get this up. Thank you everyone for reading and helping me stay on course with this. Stop back Thursday for Nigel’s Opus, and maybe some more!
Hugs,
~B

I love the page! It’s a heart-warming moment
I think The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen for the movie thing. lol. That would be cool.

What a lovely bright page! Both figuratively and literally speaking. And it has cloaks in it too…
Also: I stuck the Rocking wallpaper on my mobile, and it looks so awsome I just keep flipping the phone open to gaze at it!
As for the movie, I don’t know, but I keep imagening Livy as Jar-Jar… <..>

I’m with SI- Star wars. BUT! the old movies (Xylia=Lea)
Did we talk about Harry Potter-looks-looks-like-Claude? Though, I’m not sure I would want want that movie(s)…
Do you guys know Princes bride? Maybe that one…Great movie…
If not maybe X-men or something super-hero so we get cool customs and lots of roles for the good and bad guys.

Star Wars, Godfather, Super Mario Bros (livy is Luigi), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Ocean’s 11 are my ideas for movies they could do…….but especially Star Wars.
And……huggles! Yay! Though is it me, or does Claude seem distant? Ah, well……maybe it’s just tears.

Hmm. Pride and Prejudice, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Labyrinth. Sweet page, I love the hug. Is this the end of the chapter?

Considering the season, maybe It’s a Wonderful Life? Claude as George Bailey, Xylia as Mary, Phanessa and Ambrosius are Ma and Pa Bailey. Louise can make an appearance as Zu-Zu. Deimos as Mr. Potter. Tychia as Violet. Glykeria as Clarence.

See! I told you you were well-loved! Xylia is quality work. You should be proud.
Congrats on all the love. You deserve it!

One obvious choice would be “Titanic”, but IIRC you’ve covered that territory already…
If you wanted to go Old School Hollywood, you could cast them as Nick & Nora Charles (with Livy as “Asta”) in a “Thin Man” remake.
Or you could update them to “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”…
How about “Phantom of the Opera”?

Man, this was a heartwarming page and I’m not usually prone to that, but I’m always glad to try something new. XD
Brent took a lot the the good ideas already, Star Wars, Ocean’s 11, and Buffy. LOTR might be a little too ‘on the nose.’ What do you think?

Hey everyone! Thank you for the nice comments. This scene was not quite as touching as I originally thought it would be, but it’s okay, I see. Thank you all for your movie/tribute ideas. Y’all got some good ones!!
Hen- yes, the profit from store sales will contribute to the Xylia income total, after I meet my annual fee requirements for Cafe Press, which will be a little while. I don’t make a ton of profit on the items- they are already really expensive, and I didn’t want to mark them up too much. Eventually I hope to sell a sketchbook on Cafe Press as soon as I can find someone who knows how to build a PDF book file. Im CLUELESS.
