Hello, Xyliacs!
Well, I realize that the pages are supposed to be up at noon CDT, but obviously I missed the deadline- I thought I would get it, but I was wrong- I had to take my car in the shop. And from there, everything in my day got bumped around. So I hope you all can accept my apologies.
This page hasn’t much for words. I’ll see if you all know what’s going on. If you can tell what everyone is thinking/feeling. You Xyliacs are a pretty sharp bunch, I’ll bet you can. ^_^ Still working on that incentive piece- a couple of them- one is for fun, the other for the calendar and I’m going to post it as a download…Andy Warhol, anyone?
+++++++++++++ NEWS in BARBLAND+++++++++++++
First off, the Webcomic Readers Choice Awards are up for nominations…if you like Xylia, would please consider nominating us? There are several categories to choose from. Just click the link…the rest is easy. WCRCA’s Thank you!
I haven’t weighed myself in a week, but I think I may have lost a bit more weight- my new jeans are getting loose now. This is a good thing. ^_^ I ran – well JOGGED – on a trail with my pal Molly today- she’s in really good shape. We went four miles, and I ran a good bit of it. Just two months ago, I couldn’t get through .25 of a mile. I’m not lying.
Jeremy didn’t win the Twin Cities round of King of the Blues. He played well, but others played better. The winner was a phenom of a guy from Wisconsin who looked a little like Ron Weasley. Jer says he’s going to try again next year. He’s writing a bunch of music- some of which I may use on the infamous Xylia trailer….
Work is continuing on the Xylia Radio Play. Many entries are in.
I’m happy to announce that we have a new Team Xylia member- the most brilliant Mac guy- SCAScot, AKA Richard the Scot- who was so kind to get me through my recent comp disaster, and continues to be helpful, I felt it was only right that he join the team. Welcome, Richard.
++++++++++++++XYL STUFF+++++++++++++

Click the link-it’s pretty cool, I must say- especially if you enjoy work in progress stuff. More pages to follow. This segment features the very first pics of Xylia, Livy and Claude!
Nakie Winter Adora is done (if you are 18+) Remember that all donations go towards the two update incentive!! Make sure to refresh the page to see how that’s going. AND REMEMBER: Please don’t hesitate to contact me right away if you have trouble downloading or receiving images. Just a minute too late! I wonder what the winged horse is going to think of that. Is he going to expect Claudius to heal his friend, too? Can Claudius work magic in Epsilon, or is he as helpless as Aristos? I bet “Monkey Boy” (sorry, I’m drawing a blank on his name right now) is going to try something, too. But he’s not too good without Tychia around to plan things for him. And Libby is there to help out. The winged horse might not be too happy with him, either.

Love the backlit shot of Claudius’ arrival there. And, hmm, is that recognition in Brimaz’s eyes? Time will tell, one supposes.
Great work as always!

Oohhh. The winged horse is not happy about the death of his friend. And Brimaz looks mad too.

Looks like Claudius may have come from the frying pan to the fire. Brimaz ain’t that swift but he’s mean. Might be that the flying horse might become an ally of Claudius, however reluctantly. While I understand the disappointment at jer’s not willing, I’m heartened to see that he’s planning for next year. Sounds like you’re doing great on the weight thing, Barb. Good idea not to weigh yourself too often, you can drive yourself nuts that way. I can bounce up or down as much as three pounds a day normally.
M’lady gained weight due to medication and, since she has a bad back, has been walking to burn off them evil ol’calories. It’s working, slowly but surely.

Claudius is gonna need some filling in, I think. How long has he been away in Azloe? I think it’s safe to assume that something big started happening in Epsilon while he was away, since the last shot I remember from here was Tychia screaming about the winged horses and horsemen showing up (can’t remember their names at the moment).
Oh yes, and Brimaz is about to do something dreadfully silly.

I think time moves at different speeds in the two worlds – I think not much time has passed in Epsilon.
I wonder, does Brimaz recognize our friend Claude, or does he realize that Tychia’s mount has been stolen from her, or both – or neither? He strikes me as something of a loose cannon – he could get up to any sort of mischief…
It will be interesting to see – the Berobos fellow’s magic didn’t work in Epsilon – but Tychia’s did. As Claude is half from each people group, will his magic work in Epsilon? If so, will it function fully, or at reduced power, or erratically? Hmm…
I like the backlit shot of Claude and Livy on the Amphekeron, but I like the shot over their shoulders looking down at Aristos even more – well done!
And congrats on your personal successes – that fellow of yours should take you somewhere special and treat you!
Keep up the great work – your Xyliacs are behind you! ^_^

Might not be heavy on the words, but it’s very eloquently done. Looking forward to finding out what actions these expressions will lead to!

I feel that this page should have a tune by Ennio Morricone… I’m thinking “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, and Brimaz, Tychia and Claudius can fight about who’s who.

I’m happy to become part of the team – really, it’s more than I expected (or asked for). But, thank you.
P.S.: I still haven’t gotten the instructions on the secret handshake. ;-P

Nice comic barb.
Sad to see that return of exile is nowhere to be found anymore…

Ryan: Octodude has it right. Time passes differently in the various worlds/dimensions/whathaveyou.
While much time has passed in Azloe, it’s been mere seconds or minutes in Epsilon. Hence why the man who fell… could still be falling in the first place.

Excellent well! I love the whole thing, it looks beautiful!
