I want to let everyone know that I will be taking a week off from Xylia. My personal schedule and freelance responsibilities are massive, but not only that – my kids have performances on Friday and Saturday and Sunday would be my only available work day- and – well- that’s my birthday, and I’ve decided I’m going to take it easy that day.
The good news is that Irma Erikkson of Imy, and Chip Skelton of Broken have offered to help me out with some fan art for next week! So there will be an update! THANKS GUYS YOU ARE AWESOME!

I love your attention to shadows and light, it always pays off.
I also noticed that in every panel Claude had a different aura. Others have commented on your colour use before, but it gives your work a unique quality.

Great colouring as always! I can stare at it all day.
I have a question though, staring at that spear that may appear cruel and grizzly…but when in war/ battle/ lover’s revenge could be relevant: What happens to a fairy if you poke holes through their wings with a… well spear?

Ha ha! Lookit Claude go! I bet he’s got mad skills with a shuffleboard. XD I can’t believe he disarmed Tychia. Clearly, she was asleep at the switch there and Claude is a bit motivated. I however don’t think Tychia is in a bad way yet. This is where she pulls out some sneakiness strikes a wicked blow!

Yes, that’s right Tychia. You’re a good girl who would never deliberately anger anyone. How silly Claude is for thinking otherwise. Now excuse me while I brush my teeth, since sarcasm tends to be made of syrup and other drippy stuff. Gag.
So, Claude with spear and sword = good. Tychia without weapon = also good. Tychia helpless……not a chance; she still got some tricks, I’m sure. Heck, considering she fights dirty, she might just throw a box of Trix at him and try to get away. That wouldn’t surprise me (assuming they have Trix in the UK).
And now, to quote from my fave animated movie, The Emperor’s New Groove….

Woah, I didn’t even notice about his aura until someone else brought it up! I like it. It’s such a subtle effect, not the garish shine that the fairies have, but just a thin outline. You can believe that he mostly looks like a regular human, except for a tiny bit of fairy-light around him.

Oh wow. Go Claudius. This really brightened my mondaymorning. And as normal Tychia really rocks my sock still. Sigh what is it about evil women that makes them so darn fascinating, and I am pretty sure I spelled that word wrong. No matter that, what I wanted to say was that it is a great update.
