I’ve decided to kick off the Xylia Vox contest next month. This month has just gotten to be too busy for me to get that set up. Sorry for the delat and inconvenience.

Wow! This is the first time I have commented first! lol. Happy Mother’s Day Barb! I hope it was a good one for you. This looks interesting. What could they possibly be doing that they are on the same side? Or are they not? It looks like they are….And who is the dude in the right bottom corner? Curiouser and curiouser.

And yes, Tychia is definetely the sword type, the saber type more precisely, though I can’t tell if that’s actually what she has in the dimness and at this angle.
Claude, I’d have thought the weaponless type… a quarterstaff should suit him as well, though. Not a magician’s staff, his mysticality is too low for that…

Regarding that sword Tychia’s got- this subject came up in the forum. So here’s the scoop. That sword (a Royal Navy officer’s sword) was once hanging in the wall of the faux office of Dr. Ambrosia:

I want to mention that that is not a face in the lower right hand corner- just the outline of Claude’ cape blowing in the breeze- interesting though. CT (who proofs for me) thought that too when he saw this the first time. I left it there anyway. ^_^
The spear is an interesting thing. Some of you have picked up on its significance. And Melvar- you are absolutely right- he IS a ‘weaponless type’, and not terribly ‘mystical’…at least…I don’t think he is…

That….is……AWESOME!!! And I’ve said that about a lot of stuff this past weekend (*Star Trek*). Fire and Ice (or water)! Male and Female! Blond and Brunette! Tall and Short! Ummmm….winged and wingless? Okay, I’m stopping before I start sounding stupid.
And when it comes to weaponless types, spears and staffs could be confused and the staff is generally thought of as more of a defensive weapon than an offensive one. At least, I think it is… *ponders*

I do a hard refresh – Nothing. I turned off all add-ons, deleted the chache – all with the same result. I don’t know what to do. It’s also very strange that this happens from one day to another without changing something depending my browser. Btw, with Opera I can see the comic! strange, isn’it? I don’t know what I can do now…

@G.Dupons: is it only this page? Can you view previous pages? Since what you’re seeing is the alt text, it could be a timeout failure, either because too many people are viewing here (slowing down everything), or because of your own internet connection, etc.

Hi G. Dupons. I’ve alerted our webmistress to your problem! The one thing I do notice is that you’re using an older version of firefox. I know it’s at least at 3.0.10 now. Have you tried updating?
Is it just this page or every page of Xylia that won’t display? And are you using any sort of proxy or unusual connection to view the website?

First, thank you all to help me fix my problem!
@KEZ: The first links opens a blank page with the URL written at the left upper corner. The second link shows me the Xylia page without the comic.
@all: I can’t see previous pages, I go back some episodes than jumped to the first. From there I go forward some episodes. The result was always the same: I can see the whole page except the comic.
The mess started about three or four days ago. I don’t use a proxy, and I use an ordinary WLAN Router to connect to the Internet.
And I use the latest version of firefox (3.0.10) I was wrong in my first comment, sorry!

@G. Dupons: I’m going to let the Keenspot tech admin know about this. Canterrain and I were discussing this, and it may be the result of some anti-downloading measures that were put up. Sorry in advance if that’s the case! We certainly did not mean to target any readers.
One last thing: are you using Norton or MacAfee anti-spyware/virus-protection? And if so, have you added xyliatales.com to your safe viewing list?

I use neither Norton or McAfee antispyware. But I have Spybot S&D running on my system. I’ve done an update some days before. Yes, it could be that the trouble startet after this update.
Unfortunately, I am not a computer wizard, so I don’t know how to tell Spybot to accept this homepage (if this is realy the reason).
