Hello, Xyliacs! I hope those of you who celebrate had a very Happy Easter.
So…the new page with those ‘three words’ doesn’t really reveal much more. Grrr. Just WHAT is he going to do?!! Well, you’ll have to stay tuned next Monday to find out!
At this point I want to mention that future updates may be posting at noon CDT starting next week. I have a schedule conflict that makes that necessary. Thank you in advance for your understanding! Just to be nice, I’m posting this weeks update five hours EARLY! ^_^

Next month, we will kick off a new contest! This is a ‘voice over’ contest, where you can submit your audio entries ‘auditioning’ for the voice of any character in the Xylia universe! Stay tuned for the guidelines at the end of April.
Our first episode of the Xyliatales On Air Show was a lot of fun! It was a test run, and therefore I didn’t record, but we’re broadcasting our second episode on Wednesday. Unfortunately, Beatleboy won’t be co-hosting with me because of a night class and a new job (at 3AM!) Our last show was a lot of fun for me anyway! It was great to have CT and Kez, as well as Lucy, Julia, LtcKai, Matt, and some silent guests. Basically it’s my desktop and showing me working on a Xylia project. And being goofy. ^_^ Our next broadcast will be this Wednesday, April 15 at 6:30PM CDT. I hope you can join me! Click the link below to go to the site! (or you can watch it right here! Hi Barb,
I enjoyed the On Air Show very much. I look forward to sitting in on more.
Regarding requests, I would love to see a piece featuring Tychia *before* she was banished. Not necessarily Baby Tychia … perhaps a younger Tychia. Perhaps our favorite bad girl has a side we couldn’t guess existed given what we’ve known of her to date.

Oh, oh. This makes me start to wonder. What is Alitria’s gift? Has she somehow been blocking Claude’s memories of Xylia? And just waiting for him to weaken? Come on Claude, you can remember. Maybe now’s a good time for some of your father’s magic to show up. Or Livy.

I love this page. You don’t need words- you can just draw the feelings and the story, and that is unique. I say to Claude- go ahead man! cross over to the dar…pink side! Xylia will NEVER know… Mawwa haa haa!
I missed the air show, but maybe I will get the next one… who knows. It’s sounds like fun! And I want to do next month contest- I mean, I did study this… I just hope I have the right stuff- I’m not sure I even have a mic!
I said it before- I really like your funny pictures. Parodies, inside jokes, nude jokes… I always want to see more of that. I still want to see a picture of The Wizard Of Oz with more then just Claude and Livy (Dorothy and Toto). The movies celebrates 70 years (I think) so it would be a nice tribute. Xylia can be the Wizard…
Also, I miss your love scenes, they are so perfect! Maybe you could do a series of unlikely couples… Like Tychia and… Ambrosia, or Livy and the monkey fairy man (forgot his name…)… You KNOW, funny love scenes…

I can see that most (not all ) of you think Claude should stay away from this gal.

How about a Xylia / Monty Python and the Holy Grail parody? After all, you *did just happen* to have at your disposal a library of Python sound effects on your Mac during the on air show.
I propose the following scene: Claudius as Sir Galahad the Pure just after he stumbled into the room full of maidens (… bathing, dressing, undressing, making exciting underwear …) at the Castle Anthrax and Dingo is admonishing Zoot for her naughty behavior … “DINGO: Yes, yes, you must give us all a good spanking! GIRLS: A spanking! A spanking!”
Of course, the rolls of Dingo, Zoot and others could be played by our own Xylia, Tychia and Alitria (probably best to leave Claude’s sisters out of this).
Ok … apparently my mind is in the gutter tonight. Good grief.

A nice, quiet page, but thick with emotion. Someone should tell Claude that it’s dangerous standing so close to sparkly red headed, freckle girls when you’re half naked. Things can go wrong, or not as you expected.
The idea of Xylia punching out Tychia is interesting. Lots of emotion for sure with that, but I’m not so sure I buy the idea of girls punching each other out.

I think I would like Alitria better if she weren’t trying to seduce a man who already has a lover. Albeit, Xylia is an absent lover, but I doubt she would ever cheat on Claudius. I like the idea of a picture of Xylia and Tychia in a girl fight. That’d be awesome. lol. Or, what about a picture of when Claudius and Xylia first met? Like the first time they ever set eyes on each other. That’d be cool. I like this pic. I agree that it has lots of emotion and is very well drawn.

And so now I’m sure they will kiss and Xylia will magically appear just in time to witness Claude’s infidelity. Then a long dramatic arguement will ensue, resulting in Xylia running (flying?) from the room with Claude running after her shouting “Xylia no! Wait, I can explain!”
Then again, I could be wrong. I love this comic! <3

Come on Claude! She’s nowhere near as pretty as Xylia, and you’re going to hate yourself like nothing else for a LONG time if you cheat on her!
Also: Big fan of long hair on guys, and tall skinny dudes. So Claude is just all kinds of yummeh. ^_^
Plus! Livy was HUGE a few pages ago! >:( She said when Claude was bleeding to death that she couldn’t do that here!

Thank you for the comments on this page. I have to admit, it didn’t turn out like I imagined it would. Not nearly as well. But I’m glad that the ‘quiet emotion’ of the page is visible at least to some of you! Thank you for that Alan…
Some people find Alitria annoying, some intriguing, some understand her ‘going for it’ others think she’s wrong. Hee hee hee. I love it. That was the point, you know.
Kittymouth- you make a good point about Livy. This wasn’t really explained in the story very clearly, but since Claudius came to Digonia, Ambrosia lifted some of the protection charms that made magic impossible. The boy has to be allowed to practice, you know… Anyway, that makes it possible for Livy to resume her ‘true’ form.
