Hello Xyliacs!
First off I would like to announce the winners of the Xylia fan art/ fan fiction contests!

On to today’s page… One of my greatest frustrations is that I have more story than I can possibly tell in a webcomic! GAH! Especially only updating once (or maybe twice…) a week. This is a common thing that a lot of comic artist/writer folks struggle with. I have to make choices as to what to put in the story and what to leave out- what to have readers find out about, what to have expositions on…It’s not an easy thing. Anyway, this current scene (like most of Xyliatales) is a strange one- it’s visually going to be neat, and hopefully y’all will enjoy it. The good news for me was that Claude’s metamorphosis was pretty well received! Today we discover that his ‘personal trainer’ was none other that the cranky wingless amphekeron, Olysseus. Truth be told, Oly has a soft spot for Claude, being wingless as well, but he would never let Claude know that, so don’t tell him. The results of this fierce, unbending training are a nicely chiseled lead character. Thank you, Oly.
Now for some news:
For a limited time (a few months) I am going to be doing extra page donation incentive like we had in the past. But this is different. We used to have an $800.00 monthly goal. This time, when the meter reaches $200.00, the following week there will be two updates- Monday AND Thursday! EDIT: If you refresh your browser, you will see that we are closing in on that $200.00 which means next week could be a two update week! Please click the button to go to the donation center. You can choose from a variety of donation gifts, or you can set your own amount. Or you can purchase one of the nude faeiries- Xylia and TYCHIA are now available!! (if you are 18, of course)- all of these things will go to the total amount!
Also new in the donation incentive area is a new wallpaper of everyone’s favorite manfaerie in a bit of a pickle. For a $3.00 donation, you can get this wallpaper in five sizes!

Looking at Oly, I can almost imagine him the following conversation
–”Come on, Wingless! Katharos could carry that load up and down this hill twice without breaking a sweat! We’ll never get home for dinner at the rate you’re moving, pretty boy!”
–”Nng…..But Katharos….can fly…and she’s quicker…”
–”Mouthing off, eh? Drop and give me twenty laps!”
–”But I don’t have wings to–”
–”NOW!”

oh wow. Carrying bags of rocks, that sounds like a fun hobby. lol! I must say Livy looks adorable.
I really like it, even if you feel you don’t have enough space, i think it’s pretty fantastic and looks incredible, as always.

This is a pretty and somber page. That’s two in a row, and my cynicism tells me that the other shoe is about to drop. Great background scenery, btw.

I love this page so much! I feel bad for Claude in the last panel, but I can’t help but laughing! I also love how Claude has changed. If I may fangirl over him a little I say he’s quite the hottie now!
I’m going to be nitpicky right now because I’m surprised no one has mentioned it and because that’s the sort of person I am, I noticed that the first thing Claude says on this page is that he wonders how long he’s *veen* in Digonia. I don’t blame you though. B and V are right next to each other on the keyboard, so it’s an easy mistake. Just had to point that out
