comics for March 2, 2008 – 03/02/2008

Hello Xyliacs!

A lot of stuff to report today, so I’ll try not to be too wordy! First off, today’s update. Well, Charlie shows himself to be a bit crabby after being sexually frustrated by that thong wearing faerie girl and then being stabbed by a monkey. Well, I guess we can’t blame him. Poor Livy, though. She seems to hold her own just fine, however! I did want to mention that this scene takes us back to the time at the beginning of the chapter (after the old ladies hit him with their bags). That may not be clear…I apologize if it isn’t. My original script made it more obvious, but would have taken two or three more pages to tell, and I wanted to move on. Now don’t forget that there is a Thursday update this week!!

Donation wise, we were just shy of a second two update week in March. But being the sweetheart that I am, I may just do a two update week anyway. Watch fer it.

Starting this month, as an incentive gift, I will be offering installments to a novella with illustrations. This will be an ongoing story (complete with cliffhangers) Read about it below! Here is a teaser to whet yer whistle. (Hope this works…) If it looks little, click on it to make it bigger.

A lot of folks have expressed dismay at Tychia’s exit from the story. No worries. She will ‘return’… Plans are in the works to create a digital painting of our favorite bad faerie. Stay tuned for that too.

I’ve started new Ning network called ‘Xyliac’s to hopefully take the place of the quiet forum. It’s sunny and happy. You can see it here. If you are unable to join without an invitation, let me know. I’m new to this network. I will be emailing invites to everyone on the donation list very soon.

Richard Pulfer, our friend over at Broken Frontier recently interviewed my old pal Steve Jones and I as a followup- seeing what we are up to post Talismen. I’ll let you know when that’s up and out there.

I’m most excited to have made the acquaintance of Julie and Jozef, the creators of my all time favorite comic book, WaveDancers. And I’m talking about the original Wavedancers with Tilaweed and Hyfus. I am SO thrilled to report that a new series with these characters called Elf-Fin is coming soon. I’m so excited! Again, I also want to extend a most heartfelt thank you to EVERYONE for your amazing support and kind words of encouragement after my car wreck. In a week or so, I hope to have a new vehicle, and this whole affair will be a distant memory. But thank you all for your understanding! It really helped get me through a rough time! RIP Magical Mystery Hyundai.

I ain’t got nothing else. I hope everyone enjoys the new page, and the new incentive story. I’m quite excited about it.
