comics for January 6, 2008 – 01/06/2008

WOO!! New page layout! I want to thank the amazing Kez for her outstanding work on designing and creating this for me. I think the Cookie Overlord also had something to do with the idea phase, so a big thanks to him too!

If you would like to take a moment to peruse the new layout, you will also discover that some of the extras now have items! This will be a work in progress, but Kez and I are working on the fan art, cast page, and sketchbook sections, so keep checking those. And more fan art! I needs more!

Now about today’s page. What can I say? Tychia is one of those gals who knows what she wants. Is that so wrong?…Remains to be seen, I suppose. And what do you dearest readers think Charlie’s reaction will be? Poor heartbroken, confused, and most proper Englishman Charlie.You’ll have to wait… and see. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was an update on THURSDAY?

And so that’s where the incentive program comes in. The Big Beg! Here’s how it works. If the incentive bar gets up to $400…there will be two pages that week! Monday and Thursday. Simple as that. It may seem like a lot of money- but if everyone donated a buck then it wouldnt seem so much, and this is based on hours and time, and so forth. I get some money to work on what I love to do…everyone gets another update. It seems so…utopian. HA HA HA!! I think I will have Charlie explain it as well.

If you can’t donate, for heaven’s sake, you can still read Xylia! Please don’t think I expect donations- I get that feeling from people who apologize as though they are doing something wrong by reading when they can’t afford to donate. NO WORRIES! If you are reading this, you are donating your time, and that is worth a lot! And those of you who leave comments, well, those warm fuzzies act like fuel to keep me going. It’s hard sometimes, but not when I know people are enjoying the story. The donations will get more pages.

One last thing. For you Talismen fans. Talismen Return of the Exile will be available on Wowio in the coming weeks, so watch for that. But for the last time, I stopped working on Talismen for personal reasons that had nothing to do with trying to upset readers. Steve is still working on the Talismen novel, and if sells well, there will be more.
